JD Vance faced an onslaught from this nefarious plot that no one saw coming

Vice President JD Vance is one of President Trump’s most trusted advisors.

But Vance found himself under siege,

And JD Vance faced an onslaught from this nefarious plot that no one saw coming.

The Establishment Scheme to Take Down JD Vance

Establishment Republicans had the knives out for JD Vance from the second President Trump considered picking him as his running mate.

Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch begged Trump to pick anyone other than Vance.

The swamp opposition to Vance arose from the fact that Vance opposed endless foreign wars in the Middle East and he opposed not just cutting off illegal immigration, but limiting so-called “legal” immigration as well.

Vance understood the that less immigration into America meant higher wages and lower housing prices for American citizens.

Polls show Vance as the runaway frontrunner for the GOP nomination in 2028.

But the establishment is striking back.

And Vance’s team noticed a coordinated campaign by neoconservatives like Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin as well as so-called “influencers” online to ramp up attacks on Vance across podcasts and social media and to promote Secretary of State Marco Rubio as the MAGA heir apparent.

“The sustained public hostility from Vance’s own side of the aisle is unlike that faced by other vice presidents in decades, both in intensity and in the early timing — two years before the party will choose its next presidential nominee. The unusual nature is a product of the central role that social media plays in today’s political discourse, as well as the high stakes as Republicans prepare to select a new standard-bearer after Trump, Vance allies and critics say,” the Washington Post reported.

Washington Examiner columnist Byron York flagged a line from the Post report noting that the social media accounts declaring themselves “Never Vance” and pledging allegiance to Rubio in 2028 were foreign.

“Some of the [X] users who pledged to oppose Vance and support Rubio in 2028 had profiles that strongly suggested they aren’t American voters and are based in other countries,” the Post reported.

What’s Going On

The attacks on Vance from Shapiro and others increased in intensity as Vance took the lead in negotiating a memorandum of understanding to try and end the war with Iran.

In an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, Vance explained that the source of these attacks was a foreign influence campaign where the Israeli government paid former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale $1.5 million a month to create pro-Israel propaganda on social media.

“I definitely think you have seen this very discreet, extremely well-funded campaign to try to derail the negotiation and try to derail the deal,” Vance stated.

The attacks on Vance also ratcheted up as reports indicate that Trump settled on Vance as his 2028 successor and is preparing to endorse his Presidential campaign.

“For months, Trump treated Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio as something like rival contestants, polling aides and donors on the two men and floating each as a possible heir without tipping his hand. In recent weeks, that has stopped, according to five people familiar with the president’s running commentary on the race to succeed him in 2028,” MS NOW reported.

“It’s become, ‘JD’s our guy, we gotta help JD,’” a top Trump official told the outlet.

The establishment has always despised Trump, his voters and his America First agenda.

And the establishment sees the 2028 Presidential primary as a chance to break Trump’s control of the party by destroying his chosen successor.

That explains the social media campaign targeting Vance.
