James Carville Left Democrats Screaming in Rage With One Profane Warning About Black Voters

The Democrat Party’s socialist wing just got a brutal reality check from one of its own.

James Carville, the man who put Bill Clinton in the White House, went on the On Brand podcast and unloaded on the party’s hard-left turn with language that had Democrats squirming.

And what he said about Black voters should terrify every Democrat running for office this November.

Carville Drops the Expletive Heard Round the Party

“The blacks don’t buy this s***,” Carville said on the podcast, warning that socialist Democrat and DSA candidates are torching the most reliable voting bloc in the history of the party. “Black folks, listen to me very carefully, are the most loyal part of the entire Democratic coalition,” he continued.

“If you disrespect them, they know it,” Carville added. “And the Democratic Party can never show any distance between itself and black voters.”

That’s not a nuanced political observation. That’s a five-alarm warning from a man who has spent nearly five decades building Democrat coalitions, and he’s watching the party’s socialist wing burn the whole thing down.

The openly Marxist DSA has now won more than 35 primaries in the 2026 cycle, toppling veteran incumbents in New York, Colorado, and Michigan.

The numbers back Carville up.

A New York Times analysis found that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a socialist, lost several of the city’s Black neighborhoods in his 2025 primary. His challenger Andrew Cuomo overperformed in precincts where at least 70% of residents were Black, more than doubling Mamdani’s support, 59% to 26%.

In Missouri, DSA candidate Cori Bush went down in a landslide, overwhelmingly defeated by Representative Wesley Bell in the primary.

The DSA’s own platform openly calls for government seizure of major corporations, the abolition of the Senate, and the creation of a classless society. These are textbook Marxist objectives that would dismantle the constitutional republic and the private property rights that working-class Americans of every background have spent generations building. And the data shows Black voters in particular aren’t buying what the DSA is selling.

Carville Draws a Hard Line Over Hasan Piker

Carville saved his sharpest words for Hasan Piker, the far-left Twitch streamer who has become the face of the socialist insurgency inside the Democrat Party.

Piker is the streamer who said live on camera “America deserved 9/11,” praised Mao Zedong as “one of the great leaders of this world,” and declared he would “vote for Hamas over Israel every single time.”

And Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed used him as a campaign surrogate in Michigan.

In an interview on Fox News’ The Sunday Briefing with anchor Jacqui Heinrich, Carville made clear he wants no part of a Democrat Party with Piker in it. “I am not going to be in the same party with Hasan Piker, I can tell you that right now,” Carville said. “If he becomes a force in a Democratic Party, I’m out of here.” Carville sounded off on the Democratic socialist platform, which got increased attention after a viral Fox segment in which the Democratic Socialists of America co-chair called for the abolition of the US Senate and defunding of the Pentagon.

Carville pointed specifically to the DSA’s own platform, saying: “this idea that we’re going to seize the means of production and this — just go look at the DSA platform.”

He didn’t leave any room for ambiguity. “The one thing I can tell you for certain, Hasan Piker and James Carville are not going to be in the same political party. One of us is going to leave. It might even be me,” Carville said.

Bernie Sanders, for his part, told Carville to start his own party. Which tells you everything you need to know about where the Democrat Party’s power center is actually heading.

Sanders was asked if he was comfortable with Piker saying that “America deserved 9/11.” “I think that’s a dumb statement,” Sanders said. “On the other hand, he has a whole lot of followers and a lot of things that he’s saying that are making sense to a lot of people. I think, you know, we have to get above cancel culture. You know, when you’re doing radio, whatever they do, podcasts three hours a day, you say dumb things.”

So Sanders thinks praising mass murder is a thing you just say when you’re tired. Got it.

What This Means for November and Beyond

The DSA is an openly Marxist organization pushing government seizure of private corporations, abolition of the Senate, open borders, and the elimination of ICE. These aren’t fringe positions whispered in academic circles. They’re on the official platform. And DSA-backed candidates are winning Democrat primaries across the country right now.

Carville has raised concerns over far-left candidates, saying in a recent CNN interview that many of them are “too hard-headed to know that they’re not popular.” He also warned that democratic socialists are dragging the party’s brand “through the mud.”

The Michigan race is a preview of what the general election looks like when the socialist wing gets its way.

Third Way, a self-described moderate Democrat group, told Fox News Digital: “Republicans are salivating at the opportunity to pummel swing voters with ads of El-Sayed embracing extremist stances. Videos of El-Sayed with his arms around Hasan Piker alongside anti-American and misogynistic quotes, like claiming America ‘deserved’ 9/11, tweets about defunding the police, and photos of El-Sayed calling to abolish ICE will fill the timelines of voters in the middle.”

And those voters in the middle include the Black working-class voters Carville is desperately trying to protect.

Piker himself lashed out at Representative Jim Clyburn (D-SC), one of the party’s most prominent Black leaders. He wasn’t pleased when the DNC chose South Carolina to host the first primary of the 2028 election. Why not? Because the state’s predominantly Black electorate has historically favored moderate candidates over left-wing firebrands.

That’s not a coincidence. That’s a pattern. The socialist left doesn’t just have a Black voter problem. It has contempt for the Black voters who won’t fall in line with its Marxist program, and those voters know it.

Carville has been sounding this alarm for years, warning as far back as 2022 that “the biggest story in my mind out of 2022 is abysmally low Black turnout.” Nobody listened then. Now the DSA has taken over primary after primary, and the coalition Carville spent three decades assembling is cracking in real time.

The honest read here is that the Democrat Party is watching its socialist insurgency do exactly what President Trump’s America First movement predicted it would do: drive away the working-class voters, including Black voters, who were never going to embrace a platform built on government seizure of corporations, open borders, and the abolition of the Senate. The DSA’s Marxist objectives are not a winning general election message anywhere outside of a college campus. And no amount of Twitch streaming changes that.

Carville knows it. The data shows it. The question is whether the Democrat Party has anyone left with the spine to stop it.
