Kamala Harris Smears the SAVE Act
Senate Republicans refuse to do their job and pass the SAVE Act, a bill that would secure American elections by requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote, mandating voter ID to cast a ballot, and banning mass mail-in voting.
Trump argued the bill would cripple the Democrat Party’s election fraud machine.
And to increase pressure on Republicans in the Senate to act, Trump shared a video on social media of Kamala Harris spreading falsehoods about the SAVE Act as well as a key Supreme Court decision on redistricting.
Harris claimed the SAVE Act would “mess with your ability to vote” and condemned the Callis Supreme Court decision as taking away voting rights from blacks.
“Hey everybody, so they’re trying to mess with your ability to vote, just to break it all down. You’ve got the Supreme Court,” Harris stated. “They just sealed the deal with this case that just came up recently, the Callais decision, which basically took the power out of the Voting Rights Act, which was designed to protect your right to vote.”
In reality, all the Callis case decided was that Democrat states stole upwards of 20 Congressional seats in red states by creating illegal racial gerrymanders by packing black voters into districts designed to elect Democrats that couldn’t otherwise win election to Congress under fair maps.
Kamala Misleads Americans
Kamala then unleashed a firehose of misinformation, by claiming the SAVE Act would disenfranchise Americans because they couldn’t obtain a photo ID to vote.
“So you got the Supreme Court doing its thing. Then this president is trying to push this SAVE Act, which basically would require that for people to register to vote,” Harris added. “You’re going to have to have proof of who you are… through a passport, which a lot of Americans don’t have, or a birth certificate. Same point, obstacles to make it difficult for you to register to vote.”
Democrats like Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden ranted that voter ID laws are “Jim Crow 2.0.”
That’s news to black voters, as polls show that more than 70 percent of black Americans support voter ID.
The real racism on display is by Democrats, like Kamala Harris, who claim black voters are incapable of obtaining a photo ID.
Trump has long argued that the only reason Democrats oppose election security measures like the SAVE Act is that they want to cheat in elections.
And Trump shared this video of Kamala spewing falsehoods about voter ID to prove to Republicans that is the case in the hopes of prodding them into action.
