Democrats desire control over the Supreme Court.
But there is one obstacle standing in their way,
And Hakeem Jeffries unveiled one nefarious plot to kick Clarence Thomas off the Supreme Court.
Hakeem Jeffries Admits Democrats Plan to Destroy Article III
If Democrats win power in November, Article III of the Constitution, which establishes the Judicial Branch, will cease to exist as Americans know it.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) promised as much during an appearance before the National Association of Black Journalists, where he declared that “dramatic Supreme Court reform” was in the offing if Democrats seized power.
“In my view, dramatic Supreme Court reform is necessary. And I’m going to leave it to the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee, led by Jamie Raskin, who will be the next chair. The American people give us the ability to govern on their behalf in the majority,” Jeffries stated.
Jeffries didn’t want to commit to any specific scheme since every proposal Democrats support to tear down the Supreme Court is wildly unpopular.
“And there’s a variety of different options that are on the table. And I think that we can’t foreclose any single one of them. The Supreme Court, the conservative right-wing majority on the Supreme Court has become, you know, basically a subsidiary of the MAGA Republican Party,” Jeffries added.

Democrats also support term-limiting Supreme Court Justices to 18 years, which means that if a Democrat wins the Presidency in 2028, they can boot John Roberts, Samuel Alito, and Clarence Thomas off the court and replace them with radical left-wing activists.
The Democrats’ True Feelings Towards the Supreme Court
Democrats spent the last ten years shouting that Donald Trump is a threat to democracy and doesn’t respect constitutional norms.
But once again, the accusation was a confession.
That became apparent when Jeffries explained why Democrats wanted to “reform” the Supreme Court.
As an example, Jeffries cited a case where courts ruled racial gerrymanders were unconstitutional, a ruling which cost Democrats House seats in the South.
Jeffries never even bothered to argue the decision on the merits; he simply dismissed it as illegitimate since the judges that ruled in the case were Republican appointees.
“One of those judges, I believe, was appointed by Ronald Reagan. And the other two were appointed by Donald Trump. If a three-judge federal panel appointed by Republican judges, two of whom were appointed by the current president, could conclude that that was a racially motivated map attacking black voters, and the Supreme Court steps in and overturns that decision, it tells me that they don’t have the credibility for us to move forward, acting like everything is okay and the status quo is acceptable,” Jeffries declared.
Jeffries flat-out confessed that it’s “unacceptable” that Democrats don’t control the courts and they are plotting power grabs to change that.
