Democrats decided lawfare is how they will defeat Donald Trump in 2020.

But liberals were in for a nasty surprise.

And one Joe Biden prosecutor just got the shock of his life when he walked into court.

The D.C. Court of Appeals granted Trump a major victory by staying the unconstitutional gag order imposed upon him by Obama Judge Tanya Chutkan.

Chutkan teamed with Joe Biden prosecutor Jack Smith to impose a Constitution-shredding gag order on Donald Trump in the criminal trial over Trump contesting the 2020 election.

Chutkan – an obvious Democrat partisan – and Smith – working for Joe Biden – put themselves in the position to decide for themselves what the leading Republican candidate for president can and can’t say on the campaign trail.

Democrats seizing the authority to regulate their opponent’s political speech – in a case where the incumbent president brought made-up crimes against his chief rival – was the biggest assault on free speech, American democracy, and the principle that the people get to choose their leaders anyone had ever seen.

Trump appealed the order to the D.C. Court of Appeals as an un-American attempt by the government to restrict Trump’s ability to campaign against the incumbent president.

“The prosecution’s request for a Gag Order bristles with hostility to President Trump’s viewpoint and his relentless criticism of the government — including of the prosecution itself,” Trump’s lawyers argued. “The Gag Order embodies this unconstitutional hostility to President Trump’s viewpoint.”

Trump’s lawyers also notified the court that if the justices ruled against Trump, he would immediately petition the Supreme Court to take up his case and end this assault on the Constitution.

This illegal gag order allows witnesses in the case – many of whom are political figures such as former Vice President Mike Pence, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, and former Attorney General William Barr – to attack Trump on the grounds that these criminal charges make him unfit for office, but if Trump responds to attacks, which helps Joe Biden’s case for re-election, then the Joe Biden prosecutor can petition the Democrat judge to jail Trump.

“The ‘witnesses’ who supposedly might be ‘intimidated’ by President Trump’s speech are former officials from the highest echelons of government who have repeatedly attacked President Trump and his fitness for the Presidency in public statements, national media interviews, and books,” Trump’s motion continued.

Donald Trump is the leading candidate for president and Smith’s prosecution of Trump is Trump’s chief claim that Joe Biden weaponized the government against him.

Chutkan and Smith sought to yank that arrow out of Trump’s quiver because polls have shown that the more attention gets focused on the sham charges Democrats brought against Trump to interfere in the 2020 election, the more Trump’s poll numbers go up.
