Big money plans put in motion to defeat Ilhan Omar and her fellow “Squad” members

Democrats are finally fed up with Ilhan Omar.

Activist groups are ready to put big money behind the effort to defeat her.

And Ilhan Omar is in panic moder over this $100 million plan to end her career.

Democrat Party elites are fed up with the Squad.

The point of no return came when Squad members Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib spoke for the growing anti-Semitism on the left by parroting pro-Hamas talking points about Israel’s response to the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack.

Squad members called for a ceasefire that would allow Hamas to escape justice for butchering 1,200 innocent Jews.

Tlaib and Omar repeated the Hamas lie that Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza.

And Tlaib repeated the genocidal slogan of “from the river to the sea” which is a call to wipe out Jews so the Palestinians can claim all the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.

What set Ocasio-Cortez off was a report that Democrat Party megadonor Linden Nelson offered actor Hill Harper – who starred in the hit TV show “CSI: NY” – to drop his bid for U.S. Senate to challenge Tlaib in the primary.

Nelson reportedly offered Harper a $20 million contribution in the form of $10 million to fund independent expenditures to support Harper’s congressional bid and $10 million in bundled contributions to Harper’s campaign.

Harper didn’t publicly comment on the story until it went public and confirmed it was true, but that he couldn’t be pushed out of his race for U.S. Senate.

“I didn’t intend for a private phone call to turn public. But now that it has, here’s the truth. One of AIPAC’s biggest donors offered $20m if I dropped out of the U.S. Senate race to run against @RashidaTlaib. I said no. I won’t be bossed, bullied, or bought,” Harper wrote on social media.

Nelson’s offer to Harper looked like it was one part of a plan to defeat the Squad in primaries.

“Close watchers now expect AIPAC to spend at least $100 million in Democratic primaries, largely trained on eliminating incumbent Squad members from their seats. It’s likely that even more money will be spent by affiliated super PACs, including the Democratic Majority for Israel PAC and the Mainstream Democrats PAC, too,” Slate reported.

While the energy on the left resides with pro-Hamas protesters marching in the streets and on college campuses, Democrat Party elites understand this is a political loser with general election voters.

Party leaders want to avoid a repeat of when Democrats lost 14 congressional seats during the 2020 election due to the anti-police extremism Ocasio-Cortez pushed as the face of the party.

After George Floyd’s death Ocasio-Cortez and the Squad led Democrats into an electoral cul-de-sac through a toxically unpopular call to defund the police.

And top Democrats are petrified the increasingly radical rhetoric coming from the Squad about Israel will once again turn off swing voters.
