Joe Biden created a catastrophe at the southern border.
Biden tried to hide how bad it really was.
Joe Biden’s border crisis revealed this jaw-dropping number.
As Black Eye Politics reports:
The week before Christmas, the Biden administration announced that 233,740 immigrants crossed the U.S. southern border illegally in November which is a 322% increase from the average number of November apprehensions when Trump was president.
The illegal immigration has gotten so out of control that President Joe Biden told reporters Wednesday at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport that it’s his “intention” to visit the southern border for the first time since taking office.
“We’re working out the details now,” Biden said, adding that he hoped to see “peace and security.”
However, Border Patrol agents and the force’s union leader don’t feel the visit will lead to any useful measures.
“After two years, it is past time Biden come to the border to survey first hand the chaos he created,” National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd told the Daily Caller News Foundation Wednesday.
“While I expect President Biden will deflect and possibly lie about his failures, similar to what both of his White House Press Secretaries have done, I am happy that certain media outlets have attempted to present the truth to the American people and be the watchdogs necessary to bring about positive change, which is undoubtedly the catalyst for this visit,” Judd said.
Two agents who spoke anonymously to the Daily Caller said that they thought that Biden likely wouldn’t see the full extent of the border crisis because the Border Patrol tends to clear their facilities and release illegal immigrants before Washington leadership arrive.
“That’s what they always do. Anytime some brass from DC comes, the tents get emptied, everyone gets released/processed expeditiously to give the illusion that it’s under control,” one of the agents said.
Former acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf told the Daily Caller that Biden needed to have honest conversations with rank-and-file Border Patrol agents in order to understand the situation.
“In order to truly understand the depths of the crisis, I encourage the President to visit the overcrowded facilities and engage in real conversations with Border Patrol agents. Under no circumstances should facilities be sanitized or conversations be scripted,” Wolf, who served under the Trump administration, said.
Biden said in December that he hasn’t visited the U.S.-Mexico border because “there are more important things going on.”
Approximately 5.5 million illegal immigrants have entered America in the two years that Biden has been in office and record-breaking numbers are a direct consequence of open borders policies implemented by the Biden administration.
