Media turns on Joe Biden over mistreating his granddaughter

The myth about Joe Biden’s character collapsed.

Even Democrats can’t pretend anymore.

And one key ally just flipped on Joe Biden over what he did to this little girl.

In the 2020 election the media built up Joe Biden as the kindest, most empathetic and most decent man ever to run for president.

The press created this character to contrast Biden to Trump because polls showed the public thought Trump was doing a good job on the economy, but that a critical mass of voters did not like Trump personally.

None of this was true.

Joe Biden was never really a decent guy.

Even the tragedy the media used to claim Biden’s political superpower was empathy – his wife and daughter dying in a car accident – exposed what a ruthless and callous individual Joe Biden is.

That’s because as horrible as that tragedy was, Biden then spent years lying about it to make himself seem like even more of a victim.

Biden repeatedly falsely claimed that the other driver in the accident was drunk at the time.

In reality Biden’s wife edged out into traffic when she had a stop sign and the other driver didn’t.

Biden only stopped after the man’s daughter pleaded with Biden to stop slandering her father’s name.

Now the media is finally catching on to Biden.

New York Times liberal columnist Maureen Dowd took Biden to task over reports that Biden refuses to acknowledge the existence of his four-year-old granddaughter, Navy Joan Roberts, because she is Hunter Biden’s daughter and it will call attention to the Hunter Biden scandal.

“His public image is centered around his devotion to his family — including to Hunter, his only surviving son. In strategy meetings in recent years, aides have been told that the Bidens have six, not seven, grandchildren, according to two people familiar with the discussions,” The New York Times exclusively reported.

“Several of the president’s allies fear that the case could damage his re-election prospects by bringing more attention to a son whom some Democrats see as a liability,” the Times also reported.

Joe Biden denying a four-year-old girl her birthright appalled Dowd.

Dowd wrote in her latest column that Biden’s shabby treatment of Navy Joan Roberts punctured Biden’s media-created image as the loving family man that America could wrap their arms around.

“The president’s cold shoulder — and heart — is counter to every message he has sent for decades, and it’s out of sync with the America he wants to continue to lead,” Dowd wrote.

“Joe Biden’s mantra has always been that ‘the absolute most important thing is your family.’ It is the heart of his political narrative,” Dowd added. “Empathy, born of family tragedies, has been his stock in trade. Callously scarring Navy’s life, just as it gets started, undercuts that.”

Polls show Joe Biden trailing Donald Trump both nationally and in swing states.

Normally this would cause the media to rally around Biden and produce even more propaganda coverage.

But with Biden turning 82 and wildly unpopular, columns like Dowd’s could be the media subtly preparing Democrats to dump Biden and pick a new nominee.
