The Iranian regime just crossed a line that cannot be walked back.
President Trump’s son is now being openly targeted by a regime that has already tried to kill the President himself.
And what Iranian state television just broadcast about Barron Trump will leave every American red with rage.
What the Regime Actually Put on Television
Iranian state television broadcast a video claiming the regime is monitoring President Donald Trump’s son Barron Trump and has placed a $10 million bounty on his head. The video aired on Channel 3 of Iranian state television and is titled “Where and how should we kill Barron Trump?” according to a translation by Euronews.
The content, from Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)-linked media, appears to be written in blood.
The video claims to show the location of Barron Trump’s university, his escort vehicles, and the positioning of his Secret Service detail, alleging his movements have been “fully monitored.”
State-affiliated outlet IRIB TV3 aired a multi-minute segment purporting to track Barron Trump’s movements on campus at New York University, where he is accompanied by escort vehicles and several members of the Secret Service.
The video also detailed the usernames for his Discord and Xbox accounts, according to Iran International. Two of Barron Trump’s classmates at NYU, Liam Carter and Bo Louden, were also reportedly named in the video.
The video makes several claims that have not been independently verified, including that a girl once made her way past Trump’s Secret Service detail and sat with him during a private meeting.
It also claims Barron Trump communicates privately via voice and text on Xbox, away from his security detail.
The closing message leaves nothing to interpretation.
Tasnim News Agency, which is linked to the IRGC, ended the content with the message: “This is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us.”
The Secret Service Is Watching and the Regime Has Done This Before
Secret Service spokesperson Nate Herring told CNN in a statement: “The US Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees.”
That’s the official response. But the pattern here is what demands attention.
Tasnim, the news agency linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, released a similar video in June targeting Melania Trump, titled “Where would you kill Melania?”
In July, a billboard in Tehran’s Islamic Revolution Square showed Trump apparently dead in a coffin, with the words “We will kill Trump” written in English.
A separate video released earlier purported to map the route of Trump’s motorcade between airports and his homes in Florida and New York. The US Secret Service confirmed it was reviewing that footage as well.
Trump was secretly pulled from Air Force One in Turkey by the Secret Service amid a reported threat from Iran. Trump was moved to a separate plane without some administration officials and the press pool being notified about the threat.
The IRGC was linked to at least one developing plot to assassinate Trump in 2024, which was eventually foiled by US authorities.
Now, it’s threatening to target the child of the Presiden of the United States, a heinous act that leaves no doubt the current rulers of Iran are as vile as it gets.
Why the Regime Is Doing This and What Comes Next
The backdrop matters here.
In January 2020, a US drone strike killed IRGC Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani at Baghdad International Airport, an operation Trump authorized during his first term. Iranian officials vowed retaliation for Soleimani’s killing at the time and have renewed those pledges repeatedly since.
During the dayslong funeral events for the late Khamenei in July, regime loyalists were seen holding posters with the words “Kill Trump” and offering a bounty for whoever avenged their leader’s death.
And now they’ve moved from the President himself to his youngest son.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent made clear the administration is not standing still. Bessent said on X: “President Trump has dismantled Iran’s military capabilities, destroyed nearly 100 percent of its military factories, and buried its nuclear program. We are now entering the endgame. At dawn begins an economic D-Day — the single greatest financial offensive ever marshaled against an adversary.”
The regime knows it is losing. And a cornered regime that has already tried to kill the President of the United States, already threatened the First Lady, and is now broadcasting surveillance videos of a 20-year-old college student is not acting from a position of strength.
It’s sick, and it’s beyond evil.
What the neoconservative foreign policy establishment never fully reckoned with and what the America First movement has understood from the beginning: weakness invites aggression. President Trump’s willingness to pursue diplomacy from a position of overwhelming strength is not the same thing as the endless accommodationist posture that produced the original nuclear deal and handed the regime billions in sanctions relief.
Targeting a sitting President’s college-aged son is not a negotiating tactic. It’s a declaration of intent from a regime that has already been caught plotting assassinations on American soil. The Secret Service is aware. The Treasury is preparing economic pressure. And the American people are watching a regime publicly threaten a young man who never asked to be part of any of this.
The regime made a calculation that this kind of intimidation would rattle the Trump family and, by extension, rattle the administration’s resolve. History suggests that calculation is wrong. But it also suggests the threat is real, documented, and cannot be treated as propaganda theater.
Barron Trump deserves the same security and the same peace any American college student deserves. The Iranian regime just made clear it intends to deny him that. The administration’s response — diplomatic, economic, and where necessary otherwise — will define whether that threat carries any cost at all.
If confirmed, the video would be one of the more explicitly violent pieces of rhetoric sponsored by Iran since the beginning of its war with the US and Israel.
