Schiff Condemns the Senate Confirming Todd Blanche as Attorney General
In Trump’s first term, Democrats and the deep state ran roughshod over Trump’s Attorneys General, Jeff Sessions and Bill Barr.
Trump was determined not to repeat that mistake in his second term, which is why he nominated Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to serve as the Attorney General following Pam Bondi’s resignation.
The Senate confirmed Blanche on a 50-49 vote, leading Adam Schiff to rage on CNN over the fact that someone would run the Justice Department who would crack down on deep state leaks and sabotage as opposed to enabling it.
“It used to be the case when you got a nominee who is unfit for office, you would reject them, and you would say to the president, send me somebody qualified. That hasn’t happened here. And given the long list of malfeasance and infractions of Todd Blanche, the Justice Department is really hard to wrap your head around,” Schiff fumed.
Schiff then followed the pattern by Democrats where every accusation actually served as a confession when he claimed Schiff weaponized the Justice Department to target the President’s enemies.
“He’s weaponized the department to create a slush fund for the president. He’s used the president to go after, and used the department to go after, the president’s enemies—one thing after another. And there’s simply no reason, as you pointed out, to believe he’s going to be any different. Once confirmed. Indeed, he may have even more license to carry the dirty water of the president once he’s got the confirmation behind him,” Schiff added.
Schiff’s Role in Weaponization of the Government
Schiff made it seem like his opposition was solely to Blanche, and he would support some other ‘conservative lawyer’ if Trump nominated them.
“There are lots of conservative lawyers out there. The president could choose someone who would not turn the Justice Department into this kind of protection racket for the president,” Schiff added.
“There’s just simply no rationale for accepting him. Except I don’t know what favor of the president,’ Schiff continued.
But Schiff also voted against confirming Pam Bondi as Attorney General.
And Adam Schiff was one of the ringleaders of the Democrats weaponizing the government against Trump.
Schiff spearheaded the Russia collusion hoax.
And Schiff’s reportedly conspired with the whistleblower, believed to be CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella, to kick-start the Ukraine impeachment hoax.
Finally, Schiff played a starring role on Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 Committee, whose report served as the foundation for Jack Smith’s sham charges against Trump.
