Alvin Bragg’s Case Is In Danger Because Of Michael Cohen’s Behavior

Problems keep popping up in Alvin Bragg’s politically motivated persecution of Donald Trump.

The case is built on a sham foundation of invented crimes, so Bragg was always on shaky ground.

And Alvin Bragg made the worst mistake of his career with one Trump trial decision.

Alvin Bragg’s entire case that Donald Trump entered into an imaginary conspiracy to steal the 2016 election by paying Stormy Daniels a $130,0000 nondisclosure agreement payment rests on the testimony of disgraced former lawyer Michael Cohen.

Cohen’s credibility is already on the rocks.

Cohen pled guilty to lying to Congress and then Cohen claimed in court he lied about being guilty.

In addition, another witness in Bragg’s case testified that Cohen was furious that Trump didn’t give him a position in the administration and that Cohen wanted to kill himself over this snub.

And strike three was Cohen had an axe to grind with Trump, so he went on social media livestreams where he discussed the case while his followers chipped in donations.

ABC broke the news that Cohen made a profit by trashing Trump to Trump Derangement Syndrome suffering liberals on social media.

“As he awaits his turn to take the witness stand, Cohen has discussed Trump, the ongoing trial, and the testimony already underway during nightly livestreams on TikTok which appear to be earning him financial benefit through viewers’ donations,” an exclusive ABC News report read.

“And while the undertaking doesn’t appear to run afoul of any court order, experts say it hurts the already-blemished credibility of an essential witness in the case,” ABC also reported.

Cohen – knowing his turn on the witness stand was right around the corner – tried to play damage control.

“I am not the defendant in this criminal matter and am not the subject of Judge Merchan’s gag order. Donald is. Nevertheless, I elected, out of respect to the court and the prosecutors, to cease commenting on Trump and this matter; which I have done,” Cohen said in response to getting outed for financial gain from his participation in the prosecution’s case against Trump.

Legal experts immediately realized the damage Cohen did to Bragg’s case.

Cornell Law School professor William A. Jacobson said the jury had plenty of reason to disbelieve Cohen once he took the stand.

Cohen seeing this trial as a chance to engage in profiteering off anti-Trump sentiment could give jurors the reason to doubt whether Cohen is testifying honestly or to boost his bottom line.

“Profiting off the trial adds another conflict to that pile. Whether it’s the straw that breaks the camel’s back when it comes to the jury remains to be seen, but it certainly is fodder for cross-examination,” Jacobson declared.

Former Stormy Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti went ever further telling Fox News that Cohen making money off the fact he was set to star as the prosecution’s key witness and dishing on what other witnesses were set to tell the jury was grounds to declare a mistrial.

“Michael Cohen through his narcissism and his ego may have just torpedoed the case against Trump,” Avenatti began.

“Never underestimate this guy’s ability to screw something up due to his ignorance and arrogance. He’s dumber than a box of rocks. The state can’t win the case without him and because of his conduct in reviewing trial testimony in violation of the court’s order, which [he] just admitted to when speaking with ABC, the court must strike him as a witness, declare a mistrial, or both,” Avenatti added.

“He had no business commenting on other witnesses’ testimony,” Avenatti continued.
