Donald Trump pulled a fast one on Alvin Bragg.

And Bragg was totally unprepared for what Trump had in store.

Now Trump has Bragg cornered after this big news came out of the trial.

Since the day they had Trump arrested and charged, Democrats have attempted to use the biased media to their advantage to control the narrative of the trial.

But Donald Trump is a master marketer and he’s proven himself more than capable of taking control of the narrative and debunking their lies.

Alvin Bragg has figured that out the hard way.

Bragg felt confident that – with the help of the Democrat machine – he could torch Trump’s reputation and turn the public against him.

But now Trump and his legal team are exposing Bragg’s most valuable witnesses and picking apart their testimony piece by piece.

The latest witness is David Pecker of the National Enquirer who made salacious claims about a supposed “scheme” to help Trump back in 2016.

According to NBC News: “The prosecution moved on to its second witness in its case against Donald Trump after former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker finished his testimony, which included attempts by defense attorneys to muddy his remarks about a joint scheme to benefit Trump’s 2016 campaign.”

Pecker‘s dramatic testimony was followed by two other witnesses, including Rhona Graff, Trump’s longtime assistant and gatekeeper, who said she was testifying pursuant to a subpoena.”

Trump’s attorneys, however, held Pecker to account for his statements in a dramatic cross-examination.

“Trump’s lawyers took a tougher tone with Pecker, who began his testimony Monday as the prosecution’s first witness,” the article continued.

“Pecker had told jurors that Trump and his then-lawyer Michael Cohen had asked him in a 2015 meeting to be their ‘eyes and ears’ when it came to salacious stories that could undermine Trump’s candidacy, and also asked him to print negative stories about Trump’s opponents.”

“Bove also got Pecker to acknowledge the National Enquirer had already been running negative articles about Hillary Clinton, who became the 2016 Democratic nominee for president. Running negative stories about Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, was ‘no issue for you, correct?’ Bove asked. Pecker said it was not.”

In other words, the National Enquirer was running negative pieces on the Clintons to begin with. The idea that Trump contracted them to do this work is laughable.

These revelations have drilled a massive hole in Bragg’s case against Trump and his accusations that Trump violated campaign finance laws.

It remains to be seen whether Bragg has a rebuttal to this move by Trump, but it certainly caught him off guard to see Trump’s legal team mop the floor with his top witness.
