The Democrat lawfare waged against Donald Trump hit a snag.
The judge just handed him a dramatic victory.
And Trump celebrated after vanquishing his enemies.
Democrats are hitting serious roadblocks in their effort to put Trump in prison ahead of the 2024 election.
They’re hoping to give Joe Biden a clear path to victory without serious opposition, but they didn’t realize how difficult it would be to convict their worst enemy.
Even in front of friendly judges, they’re finding out they can’t simply convict someone on little-to-no evidence of wrongdoing.
In fact, the justice system is specifically designed to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Democrats are confused by that since many of them don’t believe in the Constitution or the rule of law, but thankfully those things are working as intended with Trump, and he keeps winning victories in the courtroom.
His latest one involved a “gag order” that was supposed to keep him from exercising his free speech rights under the First Amendment.
The appeals court ruled his gag order should be reviewed and potentially taken away.
According to Breitbart, “A New York appeals court judge on Tuesday permitted the full Appellate Division First Department to consider relaxing a sweeping gag order against former President Donald Trump.”
“The appellate court could reportedly decide to delay the criminal trial while it considers Trump’s gag order appeal.”
“Trump sued New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan in an appeals court on Monday to challenge the judge’s sweeping gag order. Merchan, who is presiding over the New York criminal case, imposed the gag order after news surfaced about a connection between Merchan’s daughter and conspiracy theorist Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).”
Judges are biased human beings too and it’s not unheard of to get a bad judge who makes unfair rulings.
But Trump took advantage of his right to appeal and it looks like the higher court will undo the lower judge’s mistake.
The article continues, “The court will also consider a separate ruling about whether to keep the case in Manhattan, a location that likely benefits the prosecution. Written arguments on the second consideration must be submitted by April 22.”
“As the case presses forward, jury trial selection is scheduled for April 15 in New York City.”
As the defendant in the case, Trump cannot be convicted unless he’s been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and the prosecution has shown no signs they’ll be able to do that.
So they’re trying to gain an edge in the case by having it on friendly territory in front of a liberal judge.
But Trump has a Constitutional right to a fair trial, and Democrats are panicking now that their plan to put Trump in jail and guarantee Biden’s re-election may not work as they intended.
