Charlie Kirk was assassinated one year ago.
His widow, Erika, is now running Turning Point USA.
And Erika Kirk faced one despicable attack that will sicken you to the core.
Democrats Claim to be Pro-Woman But Attack Erika Kirk
After the 2024 election, Democrats concluded they needed to find their own Joe Rogan.
Trump drove up turnout among irregular voters, especially young men, by hitting the podcast circuit, giving interviews on shows like Joe Rogan’s, Theo Von’s, and Andrew Schulz’s.
But Democrats ran in the exact opposite direction, elevating podcaster Jennifer Welch, the avatar for the angry wine mom that forms the core of the party base,
Centering their podcasting strategy on Welch turned out to be a bad idea, as the appeal of Rogan, Schultz, and Vonn is that they are everyman comedians and not hair-on-fire political extremists.
Piers Morgan interviewed Welch and grilled her on how she can claim to be pro-woman while savaging Erika Kirk.
“Okay, so, I want to talk about two women where I would quibble with your claim to be pro-women,” Morgan stated., “because I don’t understand why you’ve gone after them in quite the way you have.”
Morgan reminded Welch that she called Erika a “terrible person” who was married to a bigot, implying that Erika got what she deserved when an assassin murdered her husband.
“One is Erika Kirk. So, we have the case against Tyler Robinson moving to trial now … all the evidence is pretty overwhelming that he did do this and you’ve said things like … ‘Erica Kirk is a terrible person, I think Erika Kirk was married to a racist homophobe, a grifter, and I think she has picked up exactly where Charlie Kirk left off,” Morgan began.
Democrats Don’t Back Down on Erika Kirk Attacks
Morgan reminded Welch that Erika Kirk was a “grieving widow” with small children who saw her husband killed in a public execution and asked if she felt “uncomfortable” attacking her in such personal terms.
“Erika Kirk, I don’t know her personally, I’ve never interviewed her, but she’s a grieving widow who watched her husband and father of her two kids getting assassinated in front of her, right? It’s one of the most harrowing things of modern times, the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Do you not feel uncomfortable going after Erika Kirk, a grieving widow, in that way? How do you equate being pro-women with going after her and kind of going after her because of who she was married to as well?” Morgan asked.
Welch expressed no remorse for smearing Erika Kirk and revealed she wished she had attacked her in even harsher terms because she was upset that Erika and Charlie Kirk were speaking out against anti-white racism.
“Erika Kirk, no, I do not regret it, and oftentimes when I see [what I’ve said], I don’t think I go far enough,” Welch declared. “Erika Kirk and Charlie Kirk peddled racism, homophobia, [and] she has recently been talking about ‘white male men’ and … her message to women is to have children even if you can’t afford them.”
Welch – who just ranted about a woman in personal terms – declared that Erika Kirk deserved these slings and arrows because she was “anti-woman.”
“I go after Erica Kirk because she is an anti-woman woman,” Welch concluded.
