FBI Director Kash Patel has a lot of explaining to do.
Even Fox News isn’t buying the official story.
And Kash Patel got put on the spot over this Trump assassination cover-up.
Fox News Special Report host Bret Baier grilled FBI Director Kash Patel about the FBI’s level of transparency on the investigation into Thomas Crooks, the would-be assassin who shot President Trump in the head during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Baier played a clip from last May of Patel claiming the FBI made all the information in its possession public.
Baier then asked Patel if he still stood by that, which Patel did.
Then Baier asked Patel why the FBI hadn’t made the contents of Crook’s cell phones public since he was dead.
“I get it. But, you know, where were the cell phones? Why don’t we know who he was talking to? You know, what exactly happened? I feel like we haven’t gotten the whole picture about Butler even now,” Baier wondered.
Patel never addressed Baier’s question and instead pointed to the volume of documents the FBI already made public.
“But here’s the thing, Bret. We can provide, and just as an example, we’ve provided 40,000 pages of documents to Congress. That’s a 400% increase from the prior two directors. We will continue to provide this information with our partners on Capitol Hill when we’re legally able. It’s never going to be enough for everyone. It’s never going to be enough. But what we’re saying is, we’re not saying trust us, we’re saying we did an exhaustive search of that, we presented that information to the Department of Justice, and the decision was made on what to release,” Patel replied.
Baier then asked if what the FBI released was actually all the evidence it collected.
“Yeah, but– ok. You said you’d, we’d put out everything we could. Do you think everything has been put out about TKTKT– the shooter, alleged shooter in Butler,” Baier wondered.
Patel didn’t calm any concerns about the FBI’s level of transparency in the Trump assassination attempt when he compared its level of transparency in the Epstein files.
“Everything. Whether it’s [Jeffrey] Epstein or Charlie Kirk or it’s this shooter in Butler, we always put out what the law permits us to put out,” Patel concluded.
The FBI hasn’t made everything public.
The FBI claimed Patel had no digital footprint or political ideology.
A Tucker Carlson documentary showed that it was a lie.
Crooks turned into a Trump hater by 2020, calling Trump supporters “cult” members.
And Crooks was in contact with an individual named Willy Tepes, whose name was used on an Antifa website in connection with a Norwegian Neo-Nazi group, the Nordic Resistance.
Tepese reportedly instigated Crooks to carry out violence.
“Tepes openly encouraged Crooks to commit acts of violence. That Willy Tepes username was used on a foreign Antifa website linked to the Nordic Resistance Movement, which was designated a terrorist organization by the US State Dept, according to Tucker’s new report.” Real Clear Politics’ Susan Crabtree reported on the Carlson documentary.
If Kash Patel wants to restore trust in the FBI, the bureau can start by being more forthcoming about the gunman who tried to murder President Trump.
