Democrats are finally letting their true feelings slip about Joe Biden.
For many Americans, it’s years too late.
And Hillary Clinton made one explosive confession about Joe Biden.
Now Democrats Can Say Joe Biden was too Old to Run for Re-Election
From the moment Joe Biden began running for President in 2019 to the moment he ended his re-election campaign in 2024 following is debate meltdown, Democrats swore up and down that there was no there there with regards to his cognitive decline and that Biden was fit as a fiddle.
Democrats finally stoopped the charade when Biden’s mental feebleness stood out for the entire world to see when he could barely speak coherent sentences when on a debate stage with Donald Trump.
Many Democrats now blame Joe Biden for running for re-election instead of stepping aside so the party could hold a full primary for Trump’s victory, since Biden’s withdrawal in July 2024 meant the only option to replace him on the ticket was Kamala Harris.
Hillary Clinton made it clear in an interview with New Yorker editor in chief David Remnick that she is one of those resentful Democrats, calling Biden’s decision to run for re-election a “terrible mistake.”
“He made a terrible mistake. He made a terrible mistake for himself, his legacy, and for the country. He had said that he would not run again. And counterfactual narratives are always a bit tricky,” Clinton stated.
Hillary and every other Democrat in America who didn’t carry the last name of “Biden” knew that Joe Biden was too old and mentally incompetent to run for re-election again.
They all held their tongue out of fear that speaking the truth would help Trump win again.
Clinton claimed that had Biden passed on re-election in 2023, the Democrats could have chosen a candidate who could have defeated Trump.
What Hillary is Really Mad About
“But I believe if he had kept to that plan and said, in, say, the late summer of ’23, that he wasn’t going to run, that he was going to pass, you know, the torch to the next generation, we would have had a real contest. And very sadly, I believe whoever emerged from that contest, whether it was the vice president or a governor or a senator or anybody else, would have beaten Donald Trump,” Clinton went on to say.
“So I think it was a terrible miscalculation on the part of President Biden. But once he didn’t move, and and did not, you know, admit that he had said he was going to step aside and then decided not to, and held on for as long as he did, we were in a terrible dilemma,” Clinton concluded.
Hillary was one of those Democrats positioning herself to run for President in 2024.
During the 2022 midterm election, Hillary gave major speeches, engaged a media tour, endorsed down ballot candidates and held fundraisers to help Democrats try and maintain their Congressional majorities.
Those are all the actions of a prospective presidential candidate.
Hillary helped create the Russia collusion hoax and amplified the deranged lie that Trump and Vladimir Putin stole the 2016 election from her.
And it looked like Hillary was setting herself up to the be the establishment replacement for Biden if he chose not to run in 2024.
Much of her bitterness over Biden’s decision likely stems from the fact that Biden foreclosed any chance she had of fulfilling her lifelong ambition of becoming the first woman President.
