FBI Director Kash Patel made President Trump’s day.

Trump was vindicated on one of his key points of contention.

And Kash Patel scared the hell out of the deep state with this bombshell arrest.

President Trump argued for years that Democratic prosecutors engaged in criminal conduct when they waged lawfare against him.

Trump specifically singled out Joe Biden’s prosecutor, Jack Smith, who oversaw the January 6 and classified document hoaxes, for allegations of especially egregious acts of illegality.

Kash Patel buttressed Trump’s claims when he announced an indictment against Carmen Lineberger, who worked on Smith’s team on four felony counts of stealing confidential documents.

“This afternoon, a former managing assistant U.S. Attorney who supported Jack Smith’s politicized investigation of President Trump has been charged with stealing the confidential investigation documents.

Carmen Lineberger allegedly emailed the confidential material to her own personal email, disguising it as dessert recipes to conceal it from record searches.

Lineberger is charged with four felony counts in the indictment.

This FBI will not hesitate to bring to account those who violated the trust of the American public in an investigation that should’ve never been brought to begin with,” Patel wrote on X, announcing the indictment.

Mediaite reported that the charges were “two counts of theft of government money or property, valued less than $1,000.00; destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations; and concealment, removal, or mutilation of public records.

The indictment alleged that “[o]n or about September 22, 2025, LINEBERGER created an electronic document on her government-issued computer consisting of portions of internal DOJ electronic messages LINEBERGER had received on her DOJ email account, as well as portions of an internal DOJ memorandum containing header and footer markings “FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY – INTERNAL DOJ USE ONLY” and saved the compiled document with the file name ‘Chocolate cake recipe.pdf,’” and then emailed that document to herself from her DOJ email to her personal Hotmail email account, as an attachment to an message with a subject line of “chocolate cake recipe.”

Prosecutors also changed that on December 1, 2025, Lineberger “downloaded an electronic copy of the Report to her government-issued computer, altered the original file name of the Report to ‘Bundt_ Cake_Recipe.pdf’ and saved the renamed file to the desktop of her government-issued computer” and then emailed the document to her personal GMAIL account.

President Trump promised to hold the deep state accountable if Americans returned him to the White House.

From 2016 to 2024, Trump faced unprecedented lawfare from the FBI and Democratic prosecutors to first end his presidency and then keep him from coming back to the White House.

Many Americans were wondering if criminal charges would result from this attack on democracy.

They just got their answer.
