Megyn Kelly warns trial rigged against Trump

Donald Trump is fighting for his political future and freedom in a Manhattan courtroom.

Democrats think they finally boxed Trump in.

And Megyn Kelly made this shocking prediction about Alvin Bragg’s case against Trump.

Megyn Kelly called a jury verdict awarding E. Jean Carroll $83 million for Donald Trump defaming her “stomach-turning,” adding that this case was a “political hit from the beginning.”

Kelly fumed that Democrats in the New York legislature passed a new law specifically so Carroll could sue Trump as under the law at the time, the timeframe to file a lawsuit long since passed.

“They make her [E. Jean Carroll] like she’s the champion … I love the revisionist history, like she was just this woman who was unfairly targeted by Trump … When in fact, again, it is believed that the law was changed in New York in order to allow this lawsuit against Trump by a Democrat who hates Trump,” Kelly declared.

The substance of Carroll’s defamation suit was that Donald Trump denied Carroll’s allegation that he raped her sometime in the mid-1990s in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room.

Carroll changed key details of the story and didn’t provide any physical evidence, security camera footage or police reports to back up this claim.

But Kelly told The Blaze founder Glenn Beck that the jury was a stacked deck as it was pulled from deep-blue Manhattan.

Kelly also warned Beck that Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg would pick a jury from the same pool of diehard Democrats and that Trump stood no chance in Bragg’s criminal trial on the sham charges that Trump falsified business records to conceal an illegal campaign contribution when Michael Cohen paid Stormy Daniels $130,000 in October 2016.

The crime Bragg charged Trump with – falsification of business records – is normally a misdemeanor and the statute of limitations had long expired.

But Bragg bootstrapped up the charges to a felony by inventing a federal campaign finance crime he doesn’t have jurisdiction over and that Joe Biden’s weaponized Justice Department never charged Trump with.

Even liberal legal analysts consider this case preposterous – these types of charges have never been brought before in New York City under this law – but Kelly said a rigged jury will play to the script and hand down a guilty verdict against Trump.

“This is the same kind of jury that he’s going to get on the Stormy Daniels hush money. He has a zero chance of winning,” Kelly stated.

This trial is scheduled to begin on March 25.

And a conviction – even in a sham trial with a biased jury – could prove fatal to Trump’s electoral prospects.

A Bloomberg/Morning Consult poll found Trump leading Biden 48 to 42 across the seven swing states.

But a majority would vote against Trump if convicted of a crime.

“The poll, released Wednesday from Bloomberg and Morning Consult, found that 53 percent of voters in key swing states would refuse to vote for Trump if he were convicted of a criminal offense. A slightly higher share, 55 percent, say they would reach that conclusion if he were sentenced to prison,” The Hill reported.

These poll numbers explain why Democrat prosecutors like Alvin Bragg brought bogus charges against Trump in the most Democrat jurisdictions in America.
