First Lady Melania Trump doesn’t do many public events.
But that doesn’t mean the press spares her from the fake news hit pieces thrown at President Trump.
And Melania Trump obliterated the liberal media by speaking one bold truth.
CNN’s Betsy Klein fired a ‘gotcha’ question at Melania Trump during a White House meeting with Aviva and Keith Siegel, hostages Hamas seized during the October 7 attack, and whose release President Trump secured.
Klein accused the First Lady of using the event to promote the Amazon documentary about her because a scene in the film showed Melania meeting with Aviva after her release, while President Trump worked to secure Keith’s.
“Why do you feel it is appropriate to use an official White House event to promote your documentary?” Klein asked Melania.
Melania Trump immediately shot down this disgusting lie.
“This is not a promotion. We are here celebrating the release of the hostages of Aviva and Keith,” Melania Trump replied. “They were in Washington, D.C., and they called me. They said they would like to come over to thank me and to give hugs. And that’s why we are here. It has nothing to do with promotion.”
Melania used the event to praise Aviva.
“Aviva was a warrior. She is a warrior. She was fighting very hard for Keith, and I know he suffered a lot,” Melania stated. “I’m happy to see you healthy and home with your children, your grandchildren, with your family.”
The media is furious that Melania blew past box office expectations and looks like a hit.
And the press will latch onto any story it can concoct to attack President Trump.
Klein’s accusation that Melania Trump exploited hostages to promote a movie was a low blow, but a typical one from the Trump-hating media.
In an interview on Fox & Friends, Aviva praised Melania Trump’s caring and willingness to work toward her husband’s release.
“Well, you know, having a hostage in Gaza, I was just thinking about everything that I could maybe do to put pressure on anybody that will listen to me, and [Melania] opened her heart and she listened to me,” Aviva stated.
“And from that minute, I knew that she would go to her husband, President Trump, and talk about Keith and me, and that’s exactly what happened. And for me, it was like a start of believing that it’s going to happen. She gave me lots of faith, and first of all, she’s just lovely, and she opened her heart, and she really made me feel welcomed and listened to everything that I said. And I want to thank her, and Keith wants to thank her,” Aviva concluded,
