Secretary of War Pete Hegseth had a message to those on the left who tried to impose social engineering on the U.S. military.
Hegseth delivered some bad news that their plot had failed.
And Pete Hegseth curbstomped the woke mob with this devastating wake-up call.
During a fiery speech at West Point’s commencement ceremony, Hegseth said that what makes the graduating cadets, and all the members of the armed forces, special is that they fight for love of country as opposed to hatred of the enemy.
Hegseth explained that war isn’t some woke social experiment where you grade on a “curve” or “throw your pronouns” at the enemy.
“What makes us different is that we don’t fight because we hate what’s in front of us,” Hegseth declared. “We fight because we love what’s behind us, our family, our freedom, and our flag. The battlefield does not grade on a curve, and you can’t throw your pronouns at the enemy. Combat is the ultimate test, and our best Americans must ace it. Our competitors, near-peer adversaries across the globe, are trying to best us.”
Hegseth praised the graduating class that experienced the woke left trying to destroy military standards by turning the army into a DEI hive mind.
“You’re fit, not fat,” Hegseth added. “You are disciplined, not distracted. Many of you, even in your short time in uniform, have endured what I call the slow slide of the U.S. Army. You’ve seen standards lowered. You’ve seen an obsession with race and gender. You’ve seen the watering down of discipline. Codes weakened and traditions tossed aside in the name of political correctness. Statues taken down. Paintings are placed in the basement.”
President Trump nominated Hegseth to serve as Secretary of War to implement Trump’s agenda of restoring the warfighter ethos and purging DEI at the Pentagon.
Hegseth immediately set to work on that font when he fired numerous woke generals and officers, including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. CQ Brown Jr., Adm. Lisa Franchetti, and Adm. Linda Fagan.
In addition, Hegseth shut down all DEI offices and reinstated the highest male performance standards for combat training.

By imposing DEI and woke ideology, the left hoped to turn the military into a force that was loyal to the Democrat Party’s political project and purge the conservatives that make up the majority of the rank-and-file.
Hegseth implemented President Trump’s transgender troop ban and leveraged the Pentagon’s connection to force Scounting America to drop the group’s policies regarding DEI and allowing biological males to pretend to be girls.
