RFK Jr Addresses the GOP Convention
In his speech to the 2026 GOP midterm convention, RFK Jr. admitted it was surreal for someone whose name was synonymous with the Democrat Party to speak before an arena full of Republicans.
“So I’m, I’m 72 years old and for 70 years of my life, I would have bet any amount of money that I would not be addressing a Republican convention,” Kennedy stated.
“The irony of my presence here is inescapable. I attended my first Democratic Convention in 1960 when I was six-years-old and I attended most of the conventions, Democratic conventions after that and I spoke as a keynote speaker in many of them,” Kennedy added.
But Kennedy said the Democrat Party left him, explaining that the party transformed into a woke, socialist machine that his father, Robert F. Kennedy, and his uncle, John F. Kennedy, would no longer recognize as the party they helped build.
“The Democratic Party lost its way. I mourn the fact that neither my father nor my uncle would recognize the Democratic Party of today,” Kennedy continued.
Kennedy left the Democrat Party in protest over its embrace of tyrannical COVID vaccine mandates, endless wars, and online censorship.
In backing Trump in 2024, Kennedy brought along the Make America Healthy Again Movement and delivered the decisive endorsement that delivered Trump the popular vote.
Democrats Agree with Kennedy
The actions of Democrats running in battleground states show that party leaders know Kennedy is right, as key gubernatorial and Senate nominees are racing to show they aren’t woke by opposing biological men playing in women’s sports.
“In at least five battleground races — campaigns for governor in Ohio, Nevada and Iowa and Senate races in Iowa and Texas — Democratic candidates have declared their opposition to transgender athletes competing in women’s and girls sports, a pivot from their party’s long-standing position of inclusion for trans athletes,” NBC News reported.
Kennedy broke with the Democrat Party over sincere and deeply held philosophical differences over medical freedom, foreign policy, and free speech.
Democrat strategists admitted their candidates don’t actually oppose men in women’s sports, but that their newfound convictions are really just cynical election year ploys to win votes in red states.
“In these states, this takes away the Republicans’ biggest attack last cycle, and in a cycle where we’re on offense, and they’re on defense, what is their argument without trans attacks?” a Democratic strategist told NBC.
