President Trump doesn’t take kindly to threats.
Ultimatums don’t go anywhere.
And RINO Senators had to buckle up after Trump just called this massive bluff.
The Swamp Throws a Fit over Pulte Selection
Democrats and establishment RINOs kicked up a storm when Trump named Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and Chairman of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Bill Pulte, as the Acting Director of National Intelligence to replace Tulsi Gabbard, who resigned following doctors’ diagnosis of her husband with a rare bone cancer.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) attacked the pick and falsely accused Trump of appointing a “weaponized” Director of National Intelligence.
“We don’t need a weaponized DNI; we need professionals there.,” Thune told reporters following the Pulte selection.
Thune then all but guaranteed the Senate wouldn’t confirm Pulte as the permanent Director of National Intelligence.
“Again, I just heard about it. I’ll try and get more information about the current state of their thinking about that position,” he added. “If he’s somebody they want in that position permanently, he’s got a — as you all know — a lengthy road ahead of him.”
Democrats then refused to vote for an extension of Section 702 of the FISA Act, which allows the deep state to spy on Americans without a warrant if they are communicating with an individual overseas,
POLITICO reports that, “Democrats have coalesced behind an ultimatum: They won’t support a reauthorization of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act as long as Bill Pulte, an ally of President Donald Trump with no national security experience, remains acting director of national intelligence. The White House is standing by Pulte, at least publicly, while accusing Democrats of holding the spy power “hostage” and putting the country’s “national security at risk.”
Trump Responds
Trump named Pulte as a replacement for Gabbard to continue Gabbard’s push to drain the swamp
Gabbard declassified documents that showed that Barack Obama ordered his top deep state lieutenants to create the Russia collusion hoax following the 2016 election, and that Ukraine laundered American taxpayer money into Joe Biden’s re-election campaign.
Trump told the Wall Street Journal that he was giving Pulte the mandate to conduct mass deep state firings to clear out the rot that weaponized the intelligence community against him in the 2015, 2020, and 2024 elections.
And then Trump doubled down on the Pulte pick and announced Pulte would take over for Gabbard sooner than expected.
“William Pulte, who is working closely with Tulsi Gabbard, will be taking over as Acting Director of National Intelligence on Friday, June 19th. He will remain as Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency and Chairman of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Trump’s move all but guarantees the deep state’s illegal warrantless wiretapping program will expire, a move cheered by many of his supporters.
