It didn’t take long for the press to begin a smear campaign against Vice President J.D. Vance.

Vance is likely to run for President in 2028, and that makes him a media target.

And liberal media got caught telling this unthinkable lie about J.D. Vance.

As American Media Watchdog reports:

President Trump gave the order for a successful special forces operation to arrest Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Trump sought to remove Maduro from power for opening the floodgates into America for drugs and illegal aliens.

Delta Force operatives captured Maduro and returned him to the United States, where he will stand trial on Narco-Terrorism and firearms charges.

President Trump spoke at a press conference flanked by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan “Raising” Caine.

The White House released pictures of Trump and other officials watching the Maduro arrest unfold.

Establishment figures immediately noticed there was no Vice President Vance.

RINOs and swamp figures seized on Vance’s absence to wonder if Vance had fallen out of favor with Trump.

Vance supports America First foreign policy and opposes regime change wars.

Rubio supports the Bush-era policy of invading Middle Eastern countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran to impose democracy.

Establishment Republicans hoped Vance’s absence from the gathering to observe the raidmeantn Trump booted Vance for opposing military action to arrest Maduro, and that Trump was moving towards endorsing the establishment-friendly Rubio in 2028.

But that was all fake news.

In fact, Vance supported the raid, helped plan the raid, and left for his home in Cincinnati as a head fake to lull the Venezuelans into a false sense of security.

Mary Margaret Olohan reported on a statement from the Vice President’s spokesman.

“Vice President Vance was deeply involved in the process and planning of the Venezuela strikes and Maduro’s arrest. He joined several late-night meetings via secure video conference with National Security principals leading up to the operation.

The Vice President briefly met with President Trump at the Trump golf club in West Palm Beach during the day Friday to discuss the strikes. The Vice President was not at Mar-a-Lago on Friday night, as the National Security team was concerned that a late-night motorcade movement by the Vice President while the operation was getting underway may tip off the Venezuelans.

The Vice President joined by secure video conference throughout the night to monitor the operation. He returned to Cincinnati after the operation concluded. Due to increased security concerns, the Administration has aimed to limit the frequency and duration of the Vice President and President being co-located away from the White House,” the statement read.
