This was the one person Trump never thought would join his side.
But everything changed after the unfair legal attacks on Trump began.
And now Trump is thrilled that his former worst enemy is now an invaluable ally.
During the Trump administration from 2017-2021, there was perhaps no one more dogged in his attacks against Trump than Michael Avenatti.
Avenatti was the attorney for Stormy Daniels and wound up being the centerpiece of the case even more than Daniels due to his affinity for being on TV.
He was featured frequently on CNN and MSNBC as one of the many guests to bash Donald Trump.
In fact, he became so famous, that some people even seriously speculated he would run for president in 2020.
Of course, it all fell apart after Avenatti was hit with criminal charges of embezzlement and sentenced to jail.
But now he’s out and is a reformed man. He believes Trump is being treated unfairly by the legal system and is offering to help in any way he can.
According to Breitbart, “The former attorney for adult entertainment star Stormy Daniels, Michael Avenatti, claims that former President Donald Trump’s legal team has ‘contacted’ him, and he would be willing to testify.”
“Avenatti, who was found guilty of taking money from former clients, obstructing the IRS from taking millions of dollars in unpaid payroll taxes, and attempting to extort Nike, told the New York Post (NYP) that Trump’s legal defense had been in touch with him.”
“While Avenatti did not provide details regarding what he spoke to Trump’s legal team about, he described the trial against Trump as being ‘politically motivated’ out of fears the former president ‘may be reelected.’”
Here is what Avenatti had to say: “I’d be more than happy to testify. I don’t know that I will be called to testify, but I have been in touch with Trump’s defense for the better part of a year.”
People can have their doubts about the sincerity of this conversion – or the sincerity of anything Avenatti has ever said– but the fact he’s openly taking Trump’s side is noteworthy.

Democrats must be furious that the man they propped up as Trump’s top nemesis has now abandoned them and taken the side of their worst political enemy.
