Democrats in Congress faced a choice they never wanted to make.
In the end, the outcome was never in doubt, as there was no choice at all.
And Tim Walz took a devastating gut punch from Democrats he thought were his allies.
Minnesota as the Epicenter of Fraud
President Trump named Vice President JD Vance as the head of a national fraud task force.
They quickly discovered that Ground Zero for blue states ripping off taxpayers was Minnesota.
Somali migrants looted $9 billion from federal welfare programs, and journalist Nick Shirley uncovered $110 billion in childcare scams.
Vance referred Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and Governor Tim Walz to the Justice Department’s fraud division for criminal prosecution for enabling Somalis to swindle taxpayers.
The news for Walz got even worse as even his fellow Democrats could read the writing on the wall as more than 140 Democrats in the House of Representatives voted with every Republican to make the National Fraud Enforcement Division permanent.
Democrats Throw in the Towel
Maryland Democrat Jamie Raskin helped lead the January 6 impeachment hoax, and knee-jerk opposes every Trump agenda item initiative.
But even Raskin’s vote against making the National Fraud Division permanent was political suicide, even though he did his best to downplay the bill.
“This is hardly some kind of great breakthrough in law enforcement or criminal justice, but it is perhaps the least offensive piece of legislative flotsam and jetsam that has washed ashore in the last 48 hours of Republican chaos and retreat here in the House of Representatives,” Raskin stated.
New Jersey Congressman Jeff Van Drew rebutted Raskin, explaining that despite the Democrats’ spin, this bill was a commonsense effort to root out fraudulent spending in the federal government.
“This conversation is about a piece of legislation. It’s about a piece of legislation that we want to be enacted into law. It’s not a partisan initiative. It’s a permanent, nonpartisan commitment that we do something better because the people who are listening here… the people who are watching, they’re getting tired of it,” Van Drew stated.
“They’re getting tired of all the money that has been wasted. And to try to pretend that just a few years ago, a couple of years ago, everything was perfect, everything was taken care of and that there was no corruption, we know better,” Van Drew added.

Ending all these scams opens up a path to balancing the budget.
And eliminating the fraud in blue states like Minnesota is step one in the process of restoring fiscal sanity to America.
“What has come out of Minnesota over the last year, what has been exposed, is absolutely criminal in nature,” Wyoming Congresswoman Harriet Hageman declared. “I think what is coming, what is being exposed in blue cities and blue states run by Democrats, demonstrates that it’s probably higher by an order of magnitude.”
