When he was in Congress, Trey Gowdy exposed Hillary Clinton’s unsecured private email server.
Now, Gowdy had a new target.
And Trey Gowdy exposed this corrupt dumpster fire that no one wanted you to see.
President Trump fired Attorney General Pam Bondi because she didn’t prosecute enough of the deep state operatives who unleashed the Russia collusion hoax or rigged the 2020 election.
“Sources told CBS earlier this week that Trump has felt frustrated there haven’t been more indictments and arrests of people he perceives to be political enemies — even as efforts to prosecute former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson and former CIA Director John Brennan are looming,” CBS’s Jennifer Jacobs reported.
Trey Gowdy stunned Fox News viewers by taking exception to President Trump’s rationale for firing Bondi.
Grand juries stacked with Democrats in blue Virginia rejected indictments against James Comey for lying to Congress and New York Attorney General Letitia James for mortgage fraud.
Gowdy told Fox News host Bret Baier that “good facts make good lawyers, and if you’re getting a no bill that the grand jury is rejecting an indictment, then you’ve got no chance of winning a trial.”
But Gowdy totally ignored the fact that Democrat grand juries didn’t reject the James and Comey indictments because those were weak cases.
The Democrat grand juries rejected the indictments to shield their anti-Trump allies from criminal prosecution out of partisan solidarity.
And in a worrisome development, Gowdy claimed Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who is serving as Attorney General in an acting capacity, will squash any attempts to prosecute the deep state foot soldiers who waged lawfare against President Trump.
“Todd Blanche is a real lawyer. He’s a real litigator. Lee Zeldin would do a great job. John Ratcliffe, who is not a name you hear, and he will kill me for mentioning his name, but John Ratcliffe would be a great AG. He’s got people to pick from,” Gowdy added.
“We gotta, like, change our expectations of the Attorney General. That’s not an extension of a political operation. It should be a serious man or woman who follows the facts. We gotta get the politics out of the department,” Gowdy continued.
