Everyone expects Vice President J.D. Vance to run for President in 2028.

But President Trump is the one who calls the shots in the Republican Party,

And Donald Trump hit J.D. Vance like a freight train with this shocking 2028 endorsement.

Once, many establishment Republicans and RINO pundits like the ones at the Wall Street Journal and National Review are hoping they can wait out Donald Trump and yank the GOP back to the party of the Bushes and the Romneys, once Trump leaves office.

Their big hope is that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will run for President in 2028 and challenge Vice President Vance.

The establishment hates Vance because he supports President Trump’s immigration crackdown, tariffs, and America First foreign policy. Some in the establishment secretly hoped that Trump naming Rubio as his national security advisor, in addition to Secretary of State, meant that Trump was planning to endorse Rubio.

But Trump dashed those hopes in an interview with NBC, where he told anchor Tom Lamas that he endorsed a Vance-Rubio ticket in 2028 because their styles complemented one another.

“I would say one is slightly more diplomatic than the other. I think they’re both of a very high intelligence. I mean, they will do shows, they will do Joe Rogan as opposed to the opponent not doing it because they couldn’t handle it,” Trump declared.

“They will be able to do whatever they have to do. I think there’s a difference in style. You know, you can see the style yourself, but they’re both very capable,” Trump added.

Trump expressed confidence that a Vance-Rubio ticket would crush whoever the Democrats run in 2028.

“I do think this, the combination of JD and Marco would be very hard to beat!” Trump declared.

Polls show J.D. Vance as the runaway leader among Republican voters.

Polls also show that more than 80 percent of Republicans hold a favorable view of Vance.

Ted Cruz is planning to run for President.

Cruz plans to attack Vance for supporting Trump’s tariffs and efforts to keep America out of war in the Middle East, as well as Vance’s friendship with Tucker Carlson.

Cruz’s platform will include launching a regime change war in Iran and ending President Trump’s tariffs.

But a Trump endorsement is the deciding factor in a GOP primary.

And it looks like President Trump made his choice.
