Trump Says Group that Sued to Stop Ballroom Construction are ‘TREASONISTS’
One of President Trump’s signature second-term projects is replacing the East Wing with a much-needed ballroom for social events.
Underneath the White House is a military complex where the President can carry out his duties as Commander-in-Chief from a secure location.
The East Wing, which Trump tore down to build the ballroom, was built in the 1940s, but liberals are carrying on like Trump is desecrating the Founders’ original vision for the White House.
A leftist group sued to block construction, and a rogue judge agreed, ordering a halt to the project even though workers had already torn down the East Wing, and there is a giant hole in the ground.
Trump blasted the leftist group, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, as “treasonists” for suing.
“These are the TREASONISTS that brought the suit against the Military Complex. They revealed Top Military Secrets!” Trump wrote.
Trump explained the group was a collection of left-wing activists using a deceptive name to sound like a historical society when they are really anything but.
“The National Trust for Historic Preservation” is a beautiful name, but even their name is fake because when they add the words “in the United States” to the National Trust for Historic Preservation, it makes it sound like a Governmental Agency, which it is not. In fact, the United States refused to continue funding it in 2005 because they strongly disagreed with their mission and objectives,” Trump added.
Trump Says National Security is at Risk
Trump went on to detail how this project is vital to national security, and the administration bent over backward to explain that to the leaders of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
“In this case, they are trying to stop one that is vital to our National Security, and the Safety of all Presidents of the United States, both current and future, their families, staff, and Cabinet members. They were asked by the United States Military not to bring this suit because of the Top Secret nature of the important facility being built. They were shown detailed plans and specifications of this knitted, unified, and cohesive structure by Top Officers and Leaders in both the Military and Secret Service,” Trump added.
But all the liberals who run this group cared about, according to Trump, was stopping the construction simply because it was Trump’s project.
Trump blasted the lawsuit’s basis as ridiculous.
“There is absolutely no argument that a woman walking her dog in the vicinity of the White House has STANDING to stop such a desperately needed National Security structure for the people of the United States of America, as it will provide Presidents, current and future, a secure space to do their jobs, especially when she never saw the Building, because it had not risen, and she had no rendering, or pictures of the Building because they, also, were in the formative stages of production,” Trump continued.
The left is waging total lawfare to frustrate every aspect of Trump’s agenda, and liberals don’t care about the potential costs to America.
