President Trump warned Americans that Democrat states were hiding illegal aliens on the voter rolls.
The fake news media smeared Trump as a liar.
But Trump just received the voter fraud verdict that no one thought was possible.
New Jersey Governor Admits Thousands of Noncitizens on the Voter Rolls
Republicans have long warned that Democrat schemes to automatically register voters when they receive a driver’s license are an open invitation to fraud because it provides a path to stuff voter rolls with illegal aliens.
Democrats and the media sneered at this statement of the obvious as a conspiracy theory.
But Trump and the GOP were vindicated when New Jersey Governor Mickie Sherrill admitted that the software the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles used added 6,600 noncitizens to the voters’ rolls because of a malfunction in 2023 and 2024.
“These individuals answered ‘no’ when asked on a keypad whether they were a U.S. citizen when applying for drivers’ licenses and identification cards, but through no fault of their own, the system registered them anyway,” Sherrill stated.
Hundreds of these noncitizens fraudulently voted and disenfranchised a legal New Jersey voter.
“Our preliminary analysis shows fewer than 400 individuals who were newly registered for the first time because of the error voted,” Sherrill added. “They were registered as Democrats, Republicans and Unaffiliated voters and were scattered across the state.”
“I am appalled by the reckless failures that allowed this to happen and the lack of transparency shown by those in charge at the time,” Sherrill continued.
Scandal Renews Push for the SAVE Act
This scandal fell into the category of vote fraud that the media and Democrats claim never happened, but actually did.
And it led to new calls from the Trump administration and the GOP to pass the SAVE Act, since one of its provisions would prevent fraud like this by requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote.
“Democrats and their media allies have repeatedly said it is impossible for noncitizens to register to vote, let alone cast a ballot. Time and again, they have been proven wrong. As President Trump has said, there is nothing more important than the integrity of our elections,” a statement from White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson to Fox News read. “And this latest incident underscores the absolute necessity of the SAVE America Act. American voters deserve to have confidence that our elections are safe and secure.”
“Mikie Sherrill says election integrity is ‘fundamental to our democracy,’ yet just last month the RNC and NJGOP uncovered hundreds of noncitizens on New Jersey’s voter rolls and records of noncitizens voting in past elections,” Republican National Committee Spokeswoman Ally Triolo told Fox News Digital.
“Every time Democrats say noncitizen voting is a ‘non-issue,’ voters learn about another case that proves otherwise. It’s time to stop making excuses and pass the SAVE America Act,” Triolo added.
But the SAVE Act is stalled in the Senate because establishment Republicans refuse to eliminate the filibuster to end Democrat obstruction and pass the bill with a simple majority vote.
And many Trump voters are asking why, in the face of this scandal, are Senate Republicans enabling voter fraud in Democrat states by refusing President Trump’s request to change the Senate rules and pass the SAVE Act by any means necessary.
