President Trump’s number one promise to the American people was mass deportation.

Democrats Resort to Violence to Stop Mass Deportations
Over the winter, Democrats deployed street militias and violent agitators to Minneapolis to incite chaos in the hopes of forcing Trump to back down from mass deportations.
The left then hoped two recent fatal shootings involving ICE agents in Maine and Texas would be the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, who has spoken in favor of amnesty for illegal aliens, then caved in to the left and ordered ICE to halt all traffic stops to detain illegal aliens.
“Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reportedly ordered agents Tuesday to end the use of vehicle stops in a major rollback of one of the agency’s key enforcement tactics after backlash following two fatal shootings in less than a week.
The directive applies to agents within ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations division, which is responsible for arresting and deporting undocumented immigrants,” Mediaite reported.
Outrage ensued as traffic stops account for 90 percent of ICE arrests of illegal aliens.
No traffic stops mean no arrests of illegal aliens.
No arrests of illegal aliens mean no mass deportations.
President Trump Steps In
President Trump wasn’t about to see an underling fold in the face of a left-wing op and derail his top agenda item.
Trump overruled Mullin and ordered ICE to resume traffic stops.
“The men and women of ICE are doing a GREAT job, one that has to be done. CRIME IS WAY DOWN IN AMERICA, in many cases with numbers that haven’t been seen in decades.
The Open Border Policy of Sleepy Joe Biden allowed 25,000,000 people to pour into our Country, unchecked and unvetted. Many were Criminals, and we have to get them out.
In order to do this, we must be strong, tough, and smart, and we CANNOT give up one of I.C.E.’s most important and effective Crime Fighting tools, THE TRAFFIC STOP! Once we do, we are playing right into the criminal’s hands.
The Radical Left Dumocrats would like to see this done, but it won’t happen on my watch. I.C.E., be judicious, fair, and smart, and go back and do your very important job.

The lesson Trump taught Republicans was don’t back down and don’t apologize when the left cranks up its attack machine.
Mullin clearly ignored it, and Trump corrected course.
