California’s Voter Roll Scandal
California is one of the Democrat-run states that refused to turn over its voter rolls to the Trump administration.
Election integrity is a top priority for Trump, and the Department of Justice is investigating to determine if blue states are allowing illegal aliens to vote in elections.
One illegal alien vote is too many, as every unlawful vote cancels out the vote cast by an American citizen.
But blue states like California won’t fork over their rolls as the Democrats in charge fear that an examination of the rolls will show hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens registered to vote and bolster Trump’s case for the Senate to pass the SAVE Act, a bill that would require proof of citizenship to register to vote.
Fox News’s Matt Finn detailed the potential scope of the scandal in California, where nearly half a million illegal aliens may be on the voter rolls.
“Roughly 463,000 voters in California do not provide a drivers license or last four digits of their social security when they register to vote, according to a statement given to me this week by California’s Secretary of State,” Finn wrote on X.
Finn explained he got his number from a California Secretary of State report stating that 2% of California voters didn’t submit a driver’s license or Social Security number when they registered to vote.
“Approximately ninety-eight percent of all registered voters in California include a driver’s license or the last four numbers of their Social Security number when registering to vote.” -SOS A state report from May says there are 23.1 million registered voters,” Finn also wrote. “2% of that is roughly 463,000.”
How Illegal Aliens Get on the Voter Rolls
Finn then explained the loophole big enough to drive a truck through that could allow illegal aliens to vote in California.
When registering to vote online, illegal aliens can check a box indicating they don’t have a driver’s license or Social Security number.
They “may” only be required to do so when they vote in person and can present non-government-issued documents as identification.
“See it: if you register to vote online in California today, you can check “No ID” and “No Social Security number.” The website says first-time voters may be asked to show ID at the ballot box. The CA Secretary of State lists things like a gym or insurance card as acceptable photo identification,” Finn continued.
This dangerous gap in election security is why the Trump administration is suing California to obtain its voter rolls.
“The California Secretary of State estimates 98% of registered voters provide state ID and the last four digits of SS, but the Trump administration is suing for California to turn over its voter rolls,” Finn concluded.
And outside of wanting to cover up for massive illegal alien voting, many Trump supporters are wondering why California would resist any attempt to ensure that only American citizens are casting lawful ballots in American elections.
