FBI Director Kash Patel is playing a role in President Trump’s push to drain the swamp.

Patel has his sights set on a new target.

And Kash Patel just exposed this top Democrat’s ugly secret from his past.

The Washington Post broke a bombshell story that FBI Director Kash Patel is pushing to release the files from an investigation into Congressman Eric Swalwell’s (D-CA) relationship with alleged Communist Chinese spy Fang Fang.

Swalwell was one of the main voices in the Democratic Party pushing the Russia collusion hoax.

Conservatives contend that Swalwell’s accusation that Trump colluded with foreign intelligence agents was actually a confession.

Swalwell, who is now running for Governor of California, was so rattled by the story that he employed the tried-and-true scandal-management tactic of getting ahead of bad news by holding a press conference to pre-empt Patel from releasing the Fang Fang files.

During the press conference, Swalwell ranted that Patel was a “temporary employee” who committed a “horrendous abuse of power.”

Swalwell then threatened hearings and potential criminal prosecution of Patel and any FBI higher-ups if Democrats retook power in the midterm elections.

“Democrats will be in the majority in about nine months, and when we control the House of Representatives after the midterms, anyone on any level who has done wrong to you, who has pressured you to do something you know you should not do, they will be dragged by my colleagues into a hearing,” Swalwell ranted.

Axios broke the story of Fang Fang infiltrating Swalwell’s life and engaging in a romantic relationship with him back in 2020, reporting:

A suspected Chinese intelligence operative developed extensive ties with local and national politicians, including a U.S. congressman, in what U.S. officials believe was a political intelligence operation run by China’s main civilian spy agency between 2011 and 2015, Axios found in a yearlong investigation.

Fang took part in a fundraising activity for Swalwell’s 2014 re-election campaign, according to a Bay Area political operative and a current U.S. intelligence official. Swalwell’s office was directly aware of these activities on its behalf, the political operative said. That same political operative, who witnessed Fang fundraising on Swalwell’s behalf, found no evidence of illegal contributions.

Federal Election Commission records don’t indicate that Fang herself made donations, which are prohibited for foreign nationals.

Fang helped place at least one intern in Swalwell’s office, according to the same two people, and interacted with Swalwell at multiple events over several years.

Many Americans have since demanded a full accounting of the truth about Swalwell’s relationship with Fang Fang.

Director Patel wants to see that they learn all the facts.
