Don Lemon stormed a church in Minnesota to protest President Trump’s mass deportations.
That turned out to be a bad move.
And Pam Bondi laid down the law to Don Lemon with this promise.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Former CNN host Don Lemon livesteamed hjis participation in a leftist mob that barged into a Minneapolis church.
Lemon and the gang of insurgents falsely claimed the church’s pastor helped out with ICE deportation operations.
Attorney General Pam Bondi posted on social media that she spoke to the pastor and that the Trump administration would protect the rights of Americans to worship freely.
Bondi also called out Minnesota law enforcement for not arresting Lemon and the mob while also pledging that the Department of Justice would deliver accountability.
“I just spoke to the Pastor in Minnesota whose church was targeted. Attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians are being met with the full force of federal law.
If state leaders refuse to act responsibly to prevent lawlessness, this Department of Justice will remain mobilized to prosecute federal crimes and ensure that the rule of law prevails,” Bondi wrote on X.
Trump immediately wondered why there was any delay in hitting Lemon and the leftist militants with criminal charges.
Bondi failing to arrest and prosecute deep state operatives who rigged the 2020 election or orchestrated the Russia collusion hoax also didn’t inspire confidence.
Department of Justice Civil Rights Division chief Harmeet Dhillon sought to reassure Americans that criminal charges were forthcoming.
“We have sent prosecutors to Minneapolis who are working together with the U.S. Attorney’s office and the FBI.” Pam Bondi is checking in “every couple of hours,” Dhillon told podcaster Vincen Cognialese.
“I’m seeing the thousands of tweets of Panicans dunking on the DOJ for not immediately arresting people and asking questions later. That’s not how it works in real life,” Dhjillon added.
Lemon stormed the church on a Sunday.
The following day was a federal holiday, meaning courts were closed.
Administration officials also wanted to ensure the case was airtight so a Biden judge couldn’t toss the charges.
Dhillon also promised arrests, explaining that Lemon and the mob violated the FACE Act, which makes it a crime to obstruct Americans’ ability to worship.
“There will be arrests in this situation. Based on the video I’ve seen, there are clear violations of the FACE Act—really very clear.”
“Come next Sunday, nobody should think in the United States that they’re going to be able to get away with this.” Does that mean arrests by this weekend? “I hope we can see that. But my point is that everyone in the country should feel comforted by the extremely rapid and high-level response to this crime,” Dhillon added.
Lemon also tried to cloak himself in the First Amendment, arguing that he was just practicing journalism by livestreaming the mob stampeding into the church.
Dhillon debunked this as clearly false, telling Benny Johnson that “A journalist is not inoculated from criminal charges just because they say they’re a journalist or they switch hats rapidly between being a journalist and a participant. You can’t embed yourself in a crime and then say, ‘I’m a journalist, I’m just filming it for clicks or whatever.’ It’s a crime to go into a house of worship and disrupt it.”
Dhillon also revealed there was an investigation into a broader conspiracy as prosecutors were probing who funded this Lemon and this group invading a church.
“Finding out who is funding this chaos and this anarchy and this violence in our country is, across the DOJ, a very high priority,” Dhillon continued.
