RINO Senator Bill Cassidy’s Meltdown as His Re-Election Polls Sink

Establishment Republicans who tried to sabotage President Trump are facing their day of reckoning.

The reality is now setting in.

And one RINO sellout who stabbed Trump in the back is now begging for mercy.

Louisiana RINO incumbent Senator Bill Cassidy is sinking in the polls and may not advance out of the May primary and to a June 27 runoff election as he now trails conservative State Treasurer John Fleming and Congresswoman Julia Letlow.

Cassidy became a target for conservatives when he voted to convict President Trump in the January 6 impeachment hoax and then refused to endorse his 2024 re-election campaign.

And as the primary date approaches and his poll numbers crater, Cassidy is feeling the squeeze and lashing out.

Cassidy reportedly berated staffers at the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) for not pumping millions more dollars into the race to prop him up.

Key NRSC staffers pushed back by reminding Cassidy that he created this mess for himself by joining with the Democrats to convict Trump in the January 6 impeachment hoax.

“NRSC Executive Director Jennifer DeCasper gave a profanity-laced response to the embattled senator, stating that he should not have joined Democrats and six other GOP senators in convicting Trump in January 2021, the outlet reported, citing multiple anonymous sources,” POLITICO reported.

Letlow has problems of her own.

When Letlow interviewed for the position of President of the University of Louisiana-Monroe in 2020, she pledged her support for anti-white DEI programs.

Letlow told the board that she would support creating DEI programs “to address those concerns that you just raised, and those metrics and those numbers, because they are shameful, truly, and I believe that having that strong [DEI] division, having that leadership, if you have a person around the table that is cognizant and fighting for diversity, equity and inclusion before any decision is made for the university, then that’s how you change. That’s how you recruit more faculty.”

Fleming ripped DEI as Marxist race communism.

“DEI is a Marxist concept that says everybody has to have equal outcomes regardless of their abilities or regardless of how hard they work or study,” Fleming told the New Orleans Times-Picayune. “Socialism or Marxism has never worked in any country.

Cassidy’s loss would remove an anti-Trump RINO who not only supported President Trump’s impeachment but also worked to sabotage Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again movement.

Flemming is now portraying Letlow as woke and just as unacceptable as Cassidy.

The race may hinge on which narrative voters accept.
