Hillary Clinton Demands a Public Hearing for Her Epstein Testimony

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is leading the investigation into the Epstein files.

Bill and Hillary Clinton sit squarely in the hot seat.

And Hillary Clinton threw down one ultimatum to James Comer that instantly backfired.

Bill and Hillary Clinton caved in the face of contempt-of-Congress criminal charges. He agreed to testify in a closed-door deposition before the Oversight Committee about their links to Jeffrey Epstein.

The Clintons’ strategy of failing to comply with a lawful subpoena collapsed.

And so Hillary tried to spin the surrender as her and Bill standing up to Republican bullies who wanted to continue a cover-up with a closed-door hearing.

In a post on social media, Hillary demanded she and Bill testify in public.

“For six months, we engaged Republicans on the Oversight Committee in good faith. We told them what we know, under oath.

They ignored all of it. They moved the goalposts and turned accountability into an exercise in distraction.

So let’s stop the games. If you want this fight, @RepJamesComer, let’s have it—in public.

You love to talk about transparency. There’s nothing more transparent than a public hearing, cameras on.

We will be there,” Hillary wrote on X.

Comer first responded by sharing a statement from the Oversight Committee calling out the Clintons for trying to rely on the liberal media to try to spin them facing accountability into Comer and Oversight Committee Republicans victimizing the Clintons.

Comer then told podcaster Benny Johnson that the Clintons were running the same playbook as disgraced former special counsel Jack Smith, who called for public hearings after being summoned to testify at a closed-door deposition.

“They’re moving the goalposts… this is what Jim Jordan did with Jack Smith; they had a deposition, then Jack Smith said he wanted to go public, and they had a hearing. If the Clintons want to do that, they can do that,” Comer stated.

That turned into a disaster for Smith.

Smith exposed himself as a political hack when even CNN legal analyst Elie Honig mocked Smith for trying to ignore questions about how he could say he wasn’t motivated by politics when he schemed to rush Donald Trump to trial before the 2024 election.

And Smith showed his true authoritarian colors when he claimed Trump didn’t have a First Amendment right to challenge the results of the 2020 election.

Comer is warning Hillary Clinton that she should be careful what she wishes for regarding her testimony about Jeffrey Epstein.
