Nancy Pelosi made a threat that forced everyone to take notice.
She should’ve never let the words slip out of her mouth.
And now her statement about interfering in the election has sparked massive outrage.
Nancy Pelosi believes that Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu interfered in the 2016 election, and she’s holding a grudge against him that she may never forgive.
After the October 7th terrorist attacks on Israel by Hamas, most politicians rushed to pay token lip service to Israel and condemned the violent attacks by Hamas.
But Democrats despise Netanyahu, and their support for Israel has gradually eroded over the months since the attack, culminating in a speech by Chuck Schumer attacking the Netanyahu administration.
Now Nancy Pelosi is getting in on the act as well by making threats against Netanyahu, saying that his reputation will suffer.
She’s still mad at him for his speech before Congress in 2015 where he criticized the foreign policy of the Obama administration.
According to WRAL News, “Pelosi said Schumer ‘loves Israel’ and that his remarks ‘should be listened to because Israel’s reputation is at risk’ as the humanitarian crisis in Gaza deepens.”
“Pelosi said Netanyahu must ‘be unaware or ill-informed’ of the humanitarian situation in Gaza after the prime minister claimed Israel was letting in enough aid. Pelosi called it a ‘very sad situation’ as aid organizations warn of a famine looming in the region.”
“She also criticized Netanyahu for attacking Schumer over his suggestion that Israel hold new elections, considering that Netanyahu has previously inserted himself into US politics.”
Here is what Pelosi said: “It’s curious to me to see Netanyahu talk the way he does when he tried to interfere in American elections.”
Of course, Netanyahu absolutely did not “interfere” in the elections. He simply made a speech where he gave his opinion as everyone has a right to do.
But Pelosi did not like the content of that speech. The article goes on to explain why.
“In that 2015 address, Netanyahu framed Iran as a major terrorist threat to the US and Israel, comparing it to ISIS and North Korea. He argued that the deal then in the works to prevent the nation from gaining nuclear weapons would in fact ‘guarantee’ that it secures them — ‘lots of them.’”
Those words from Netanyahu sent Pelosi off the deep end, and she’s had it out for him ever since, even despite the horrors that his country faced on October 7th.
She wants to see him removed from office, and alongside Schumer, they’re willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
Pelosi’s words have sent shockwaves through D.C. as no one expected her to attack Israel so directly.
